Spiral Galaxy IC342 is located roughly 11 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Camelopardalis, 搕he giraffe.?Its face-on appearance in the sky梐s opposed to our tilted and edge-on views of many other nearby galaxies, such as the large spiral galaxy Andromeda< IC342 has very low surface brightness which makes it a difficult object to image.

The Eagle Nebula Messier 16 (M16) is a conspicuous region of active star formation, situated in Serpens Cauda. The starforming nebula, a giant cloud of interstellar gas and dust, has already created a considerable cluster of young stars. The cluster is also referred to as NGC 6611, the nebula as IC 4703.
