APOD090722 泻湖星云
本帖最后由 gohomeman1 于 2009-7-22 16:59 编辑我想看看APOD几天后会刊登这次日全食照片，不过我想最早在周五吧，估计是日本在海上的船中拍摄的，那个景象确实壮观。
今天的APOD是比较著名的泻湖星云——M8，一个充满气体、尘埃的星云，中央还有好几个明亮的巨星（注意整个着色不是真彩色的）。

Explanation:
Stars are battling gas and dust in the Lagoon Nebulabut the photographers are winning.Also known as M8,this photogenic nebula is visibleeven without binoculars towards the constellation of Sagittarius.The energetic processes ofstar formation create notonly the colors but the chaos.The red-glowing gas, shown on the above left inre-assigned colors,results from high-energy starlight striking interstellarhydrogen gas.The Trifid nebula is visible on the far right.The darkdustfilaments that laceM8 were created inthe atmospheres of coolgiant stars and in thedebris fromsupernovae explosions.The light from M8 we see today left about5,000 years ago.Light takes about 50 years to cross this section ofM8. 本帖最后由 gohomeman1 于 2009-7-22 16:55 编辑
泻湖星云离我们很近，本图相当的大，这应该是某位天文摄影大师的作品吧，右上角是著名的三叶星云。注意，本图的星云着色不是真彩色的。

在礁湖星雲(Lagoon Nebula)內，恆星正和雲氣和塵埃爭戰，於是許多攝影家拍到了精彩的照片。這個很上鏡頭的星雲也稱為M8，位在人馬 星座內，是一個不用借助雙筒望遠鏡也能用肉眼看見的星雲。恆星形成時的高能過程，除了造就了繽紛多彩的色澤，也引起團團的混亂。例如，在上面這張重置的科學影像左方，發生紅色輝光的雲氣是因為高能星光衝擊星際氫氣所致，著名的三裂星雲則是在右方。穿綴在M8各處的黝黑絲狀 塵埃是成形於低溫巨星的大氣或來自超新星爆炸的碎片。我們現在看到的M8星光，遠在5000年前就出發了。光要橫過這部份的視野則要用上50年。 论坛的速度时快时慢，那个气啊。一张图片总是打不开！
