Opportunity Mars Rover Targeted For Launch No Earlier Than July 5


The second Mars Exploration Rover, Opportunity, is now targeted for launch no earlier than Saturday, July 5. The delay is due to problems with the cork insulation on the Delta II launch vehicle's first stage.
