Here's a couple of hovering Drone Flies taken with the SW80ED and Canon 100-200mm TN (1.5X mag), taken from around 6 or 7m range (20 feet). 1/250sec ISO800. Both are cropped about 50%.
All taken from around 2.5m (8 feet) with about 180mm of extension in the rear of the focuser. Also used the front lens cover to stop down the SW80ED to 50mm aperture.
1/250sec, 1/320sec and 1/400sec in that order. All are ISO800 and all are cropped about 40%
Last image is 100% crop from 2nd photo.

Scope stopped down to 30mm for the Damselfly and taken from around 2m (6 feet). ISO800 1/250sec. Aircraft was stopped down to 50mm 1/1250sec at ISO800. I find stopping down where there is mostly sky I get better contrast and saturation.

Sun is out today and for this one I managed 1/2000sec at ISO800.

All are with the 0.6X focal reducer to take the SW80ED down to 360mm equivalent.
All are ISO1600 and 1/4000sec which is the maximum shutter speed of the Canon 450D.

The first image in the series below was taken using a 76mm extension tube,
the 2nd image was with a 50mm tube,
the 3rd was with a 26mm tube and
the last photo was taken with just the teleconverter and no extension tube.
It was early morning, dull and cloudy so I shot this series at ISO800.
