I've been observing C/2013 V5 nightly with the Warrumbungle 0.5-m. My most recent data does show an increase in brightness in the V of ~0.6 magnitudes between Sep 11.79 and 12.80 (unfortunately I've only been getting V-band data). My only caveat is the Sept 12 data was taken late so the sky was getting bright at that time.

Sep. 10.78 V=7.1
Sep. 11.79 V=7.2
Sep. 12.80 V=6.6

The outburst has ended for V-band now and today it was noticeable in our R-band measure, where magnitude increased by 0.7 mag in 24 hours.

想想这十多来年所有的大彗星都跑到南半球了，去年好不容易来了个ISON，却忽悠了所以地球人。。。 这又到南半球去了，而且北半球再可以看的时候已经很暗了。 這彗星還OK 嗎?好像有網友說疑似解體? ??

又是那个OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO吧，他说的当笑话看看吧，看到新彗星就喊解体，已经喊了5、6颗了，包括2013uq4这样彗核直径9公里的彗星，迄今为止就一个ISON破了，还是被太阳撕裂的，一看到彗星发生亮度变化就像打鸡血似的，马上蹦出来试图证明自己蒙对了，哈哈。

不過下次北半球看到應該也開始變暗了吧.
