the J60 which had the white tube and the Pentax green metal parts, it had a focal lenght of 700mm [F.11.6] and was on a full height wooden leg Alt-Az. mount with 2x flexible controls. That came with 3 E.P.s - a [.96in.] Orthoscopic 6mm [117x] a K12.5mm [56x] and a K25 mm [28x]
The other was the J60c [compact] which had the black tube and had a 310mm focal lenght [F.5.2] it had a desk top aluminium mount with a 'pan type' head. It came with a Orthoscopic 6mm [52x] a Kelner 12.5 [25x] and a K20 [16x].
They both had the 2 element achromatic objective lens.
They both had superior Pentax build and optical quality but can really only speak about the J60.
My father had the J60 that he brought in Hong Kong and it gave little CA and the images were as I recall sharp. I remember he had it around the time of Halleys Comet [1986]. Unsure what happenned to it and would love to own one now - but just like my dad both gone. I still have the brochure.
I believe they are desirable.
