The www.digitecoptical.com says the Orion ED80 is "Sold out" ! (Too bad)
I guess the distance to Yale doesn't matter.
Ask your friend call them to check the availability. That is the first thing you need to do.
Anyway, Orion80ED is a VERY GOOD scope. I've used it with my Canon300D shoot a lot of objects.

国内的买主，不建议去Astromart买东西。一是有问题不能退换，而且容易引起纠纷。

I think the people in Astromart are quite prof and trustable. I bought a lot of things overthere.
It might have problem to due with the foreign people.
