祝贺周波的彗星失而复得，他的第四颗！
 按理说这颗彗星应该编号SOHO-868，遗憾的是由于专家的疏忽，没有确认这颗明显的彗星。为此大家还多次讨论究竟是否是真的彗星。
昨天，经与苏华兄反复讨论和推敲，仍然觉得有9成以上的可能可以确定。所以由我代笔在YAHOO邮件组发信向全球有经验的SOHO老手请教。
1小时后，德国老手迈耶复信说，可能是专家疏忽了，他认为是颗真实的彗星。同时也指出，由于周波的撤消报告前后很多，专家可能跳过了他的真实彗星报告。
今天，我打开YAHOO邮件组，发现专家发言了，打开一看，哈哈，专家承认自己犯错了，彗星失而复得，令人兴奋！可能编号是SOHO-876，下周一公布，提前祝贺了。

very puzzled to find that Bo Zhou's claim which was reported in Nov 22 2004
04:24:08 had not been confirmed .
I beg who may tell me why this report is not a real SOHO comet?

this really seems to have slipped Karl's attention - no wonder when one looks at

the board with such a lot of retractions and false reports. Immediately after
Bo's
report he did a retraction for an aearlier report -- which is kind of confusing
if
one overlooks the date to which the retraction referred.

I guess this will now be confirmed later.

It's not a problem Gregg, but thank you anyway!

Regarding Bo Zhou's claim, I apologise for skipping it! I'll check it
on monday but I'm sure it's real. I'll make it soho-876 if no-one has
any objection. Thanks for letting me know, and please don't hesitate
to contact me if you ever think I've made a mistake!
