超级计算机都是并行的,到目前为止我还没见过用并行程序编写的游戏软件

中国最好的计算机在总参
估计天文学家的问题还没办法用计算机解决

我一个室友是做地球动力发电机模型的

他说即使用最好的当今计算机对地球进行剖分,网格都只能划分到500公里,就是说在500公里以内没有磁流体流动,天上的东西就更大了,估计没发用CLUSTER做的东西上巨型机也没意义

因为即使是将网格刨分减小一倍,对于二维情况运算量要增加4倍,对于3维情况要增加8倍
现在是100万公里数量级,而要真实模拟象地球这样大一个行星的磁场需要的是厘米数量级,他们算了下,要真实模拟的话,听他们说好像需要现在计算能力的10的36次方倍,即使是把现在所有计算机加在一块都是不可能的
