Space Shuttle Atlantis Tribute

This tribute to space shuttle Atlantis,OV-104, hangs in Firing Room 4 of the Launch Control Center at NASA's KennedySpace Center in Florida.

这张向亚特兰蒂斯号（编号OV-104）献礼的图片悬挂在佛罗里达州NASA肯尼迪航天中心发射控制中心的4号发射间。

It features, Atlantis soaring above Earth.Threaded through the design are the mission patches foreach of Atlantis' flights. Atlantis' accomplishments include seven missions tothe Russian space station Mir and several assembly, construction and resupplymissions to the International Space Station. Atlantis also flew the last HubbleSpace Telescope servicing mission on STS-125.

The planet Venus represents the Magellanprobe being deployed during STS-30, and Jupiter represents the Galileo probebeing deployed during STS-34. The inset photos illustrate various aspects ofshuttle processing in addition to significant achievements, such as the glasscockpit and the first shuttle docking with Mir during STS-71.

The STS-135 patch represents space shuttleAtlantis embarking on its mission to resupply the International Space Station.

STS-135的任务徽章代表了亚特兰蒂斯号航天飞机补给国际空间站的使命。

Atlantis is centered over elements of theNASA emblem depicting how the space shuttle has been at the heart of NASA forthe last 30 years. It also pays tribute to the entire NASA and contractor teamthat made possible all the incredible accomplishments of the space shuttle.

亚特兰蒂斯号被NASA的标志环绕着，表现了这架航天飞机在过去30年里一直位于NASA的中心地位。它使航天飞机的惊人成就成为现实，同样为整个NASA与承包商做出了贡献。

Omega, the last letter in the Greekalphabet, recognizes this mission as the last flight of the Space ShuttleProgram.

A train delivers the last space shuttlesolid rocket booster segments to the Jay Jay Rail Yard in Titusville, Fla. SixFlorida East Coast Railway cars transported the segments on their cross-countyjourney from the ATK solid rocket booster plant in Promontory, Utah.

一列火车载着航天飞机最后的固体火箭助推器的部分到达佛罗里达州泰特斯维尔的Jay Jay铁路站场，六节佛罗里达东海岸铁路的车厢跨越州县将这些部分从犹他州的ATK固体火箭助推器工厂送到了这里。

NASA senior managers and astronaut MikeMassimino hopped aboard the train in Jacksonville, Fla., for the final leg ofthe trip. Next, the NASA Railroad train will drive the segments over the IndianRiver and onto NASA Kennedy Space Center property.

NASA的高级管理人员与宇航员麦克·马希米洛在佛罗里达州杰克逊维尔在旅程的最后阶段登上了这趟列车。接下来，NASA铁道列车将会载着这些部分跨越印第安河，由NASA肯尼迪航天中心接管。

The booster segments will be used forshuttle Atlantis' STS-135 mission.
