Hi,
I visually observed C/2011 L4 (PANSTARRS) on February 24. The Moon was 12 days
old and the comet was low in the SW late twilight 鈥� so a bit of a challenge to
get a mag estimate...

x 70 B...John Drummond, (Gisborne, New Zealand) [Comet PANSTARRS easy to see
in dusk. Nice coma and medium tail. Comparison stars - Alpha, Gamma, Delta PSA
(mags 1.2, 4.2, 4.5). Comet 4 degrees altitude in the SW. Clear, bright 12 day
Moon, twilight sky.]
