编者按：
一般来说，极光发生在南北极圈附近上空，但是，位置较南的英国居然也能看见极光，而且是英格兰西南部。摄影师William Henderson 先生抓拍了这一组图片，非常精彩。

Britain's skies were lit up  red and green last night as a spectacular display of the Northern Lights  illuminated  the South West of England.
Photographer William  Henderson was taking pictures of the stars when the stunning glow of the Aurora  Borealis spread across the sky in the Forest of Dean,  Gloucestershire.
He posted the photo on Facebook in a bid to  shed light on the colourful lights - and was astonished to discover it was the  Northern Lights.
