It was designed as an astrograph.

I hope Art does not kick me again, but here the truth about the sample I owned

1, image was perfect symmetrical
2, my lens have had an down turned edge, using a 4" Mask, it showed perfect correction
3, colorcorrection was less good than in side by side view with FC
125/1000
4, image was darker than in douplet FC 125 , the FCT 125 loosed
visible ligfht due the triplet design and not coated lens
5, it was a ultracompact baby
6, using it for which it was designed as image mashine a great toy to
use
7, If I would get it back, I would keep it, as a collector item, not
worriyng about the turned edge

for such a fast triplet apo, a real good scope

I paid used about $ 5,000 for it ex Japan, a good value at thattime, the other owner in Germany offered it one time for $ 14,000salesvalue
