C/2012S1艾森彗星（ISON）的小尾巴。 这几天的照片，艾森显现出很小的彗尾，是代表彗星的新活动吗？no，下面是艾森彗星黄经冲日表：
黄经 冲 日期 (UT) 距离 (AU)
2013      一月 11 19:04 4.1736 +31°10'
2014      一月 03 06:11 0.4700 +78°01' 可见它的小尾巴是过冲日后重新转过来了。

Comet C/2012 S1 ISON, Brightness Drop?

Regarding the brightness of this comet on recent nights:
Very nice image Rolando; I am wondering if anyone else is monitoring the drop in
brightness of this comet over the past three nights; it has dropped in our
measurements from a total magnitude of 15.3 (CCD) to 15.9 and in many cases we
were logging it at 16.0 last night. The overall diameter of the coma has
decreased slightly with more concentration, but without a doubt there has been a
slight drop in brightness of this comet.

最近大概在双子座和御夫座之间，15等左右：

看到LS提供的最新星历表，发现这颗彗星在3等以上亮度的时间也就半个月左右啊！而且负星等时的持续时间居然还不到一周时间！！！比起当年的海尔波普彗星来说实在是太吝啬了！！

LS在哪里呀，怎么会这么惨呢？！

前几天查了一下星图，最亮时也就不到-5等吧，也就是说当初亮度高估了。

那个预报是以天为单位，而不是小时，分钟，秒，所以最亮亮度仍然可能超过-5

是真的，如果彗星中途不瓦解，明年就有大戏看了

ISON彗星瓦解的可能性很大。
