Ritchey-Chrétien 光学设计



Nov. 8, 2005 – Meade Instruments Corp. (Nasdaq NM: MEAD) announced that its new RCX400™ Advanced Ritchey-Chrétien telescope was awarded Popular Science Magazine's 2005 Best of What's New Award. Popular Science editor Mark Jannot stated, “The Best of What's New Awards honor innovations that not only influence the way we live today, but change the way we think about the future.”

According to Ken Baun , Meade's Senior Vice President of Engineering, the classic Richey-Chrétien optical design (which the RCX400 shares with the Hubble Space Telescope and most major observatory telescopes built in the last half century) is unsurpassed in its ability to produce razor-sharp, coma-free images across the entire field-of-view. However, the new Meade RCX400 is more that just a classic Richey-Chrétien. “Proprietary enhancements to the RCX400's optical system,” said Baun, “take the optical design even further, allowing the RCX400 to significantly outperform traditional Richey-Chrétien telescopes of similar size."

“For example,” said Baun, “unlike its predecessors, the RCX400 incorporates a simple spherical primary mirror and a full-aperture corrector lens. These serve to reduce astigmatism and eliminate diffraction spikes that typically diminish contrast and resolution in the classic Ritchey-Chrétien design. In addition, the scope's closed low-expansion carbon-fiber tube and built-in anti-dew heater result in greater optical precision, despite changes in temperature and humidity. These innovations and others make the RCX400 arguably the most advanced telescope ever produced for serious amateur astronomers and astrophotographers.”  Available in apertures of 10 to 16 inches, with prices starting at $4,999, the RCX400 costs a mere fraction of the price of competing Richey-Chrétien designs of comparable aperture. World-renowned astrophotographer Jack Newton calls the RCX400 “a gift to the astronomical community.”

由这些信息,我更加肯定了:
1.Meade的镀膜真是烂!
Meade普通的镀膜才80%不到的水平,就算是UHTC膜也只是90%出头。
最常见的单层氟化镁增透膜都可以达到98%的水平;
最常见的银反射膜都有95%的水平

2.Ritchey-Chretien系统还真是和我想像的一样轴外成像不咋的,非球面的高成本和廉价球面的Houghton-Cassegrain成像差不多,比起加了球改正镜的Houghton-Cassegrain就差远了。

3.什么施卡,都是广告吹出来的,那叫一个烂

兩個反射面加2個透射面90%的透過率還低啊!

Houghton-Cassegrain的衰敗自有它的原因,咸魚兄要證實它的好,就快把鏡子完成,不然光學器材光用演算公式,不能拿來做為與成品機的評比較,畢竟人家是完成品,已排除所有困難,做成成品,但一個以演算公式得出的結果,不能拿來作比較及批評,理論上,兩塊材質相同的物體,互相對磨,可以得到兩個理想平面,想要有多高精度都可以算出來,但我們不能因此對磨鏡人做不出理想平面而大加痛批,畢竟不是我們在磨,裡面的痛處我們不知道,如果我們真做出比某某磨鏡人磨的還好,在來痛批還不遲.
理論上兩個相同物體,互相碰撞,可以得到兩個理想的圓球,想要有多高精度都可以算出來,但真實世界,有多少人做到了,理論能說明可行性,但完成實踐才能驗證理論的說法,否則一切都是空談.
咸魚兄若有須要,我可以義務代為組裝加工好您的大作,否則老掛在那裡,不能說明問題.

可惜的是Houghton-Cassegrain这种要做大口径也很困难的,太重了,做16寸的Houghton-Cassegrain,不能想象的重呀。

我也想早点落实机械加工啊,可是总是石沉大海。
你的加工精度可以到多少?价格如何?
我可以提供129mm硬铝筒材料。

我不是搞加工的,所以談不到精度,純DIY,如真加工好,須要咸魚兄自己微調.所有光學件的產出都是如此的.
如一定要加工廠作業,我認識很多,可以在收到東西後5天搞定,但這要付費, 你把圖紙傳給我,我幫你找人估價, 絕對便宜.但就算加工廠作業,仍須你自己微調.
