Brand-new Bootes International Star Party!
The Fourth Bootes International Star Party will be hosted by Chinese Bootes Astronomy Website and Dalian Astronomy Popularization Association, and supported by by “ Sky & Telescope ” magazine in America. The holding date starts from May 1st,ends on May 5th, and the holding place is Keshiketengqi Dalinuoer( Dali Lake), which is situated to the northwest of Chifeng in Inner Mongolia. It is a national nature preserve. It is recommended by “China National Geography” magazine, which will also go hand in hand with Da Li Lake National Nature Preserve. The party will bring the attendees the unprecedented feeling of returning back to nature. You’ll also enjoy the genuine happiness of prairie at the same time. Are you a beginner? Are you in need of equipment and facilities? Don’t be afraid. Our star party has already prepared all these for you!
Dali Lake is situated in the famous prairie Gonggeer, which lies 320 kilometers to
the northwest of Chifeng. Away from the disturbance of city lights, it is the
best place for Amateur Astronomers to photograph. While you are taking pictures of the starry sky , you can enjoy the view of hundreds of thousands of swans and over 160 rare birds paddling by the broad lakeside. You can also go fishing . There are various kinds of fishes in the lake. Horse riding, visiting wind power plants will make your tour worthwhile.

The cost of the party is 900 yuan, which includes the 4 days’ meals (11meals in total), the lodging , traveling the 320 kilometers between Chifeng and Dali Lake, the admission ticket and sightseeing.
All the attendees will be arranged to live in two-person standard room.
Please send the earnest money of 300 yuan with your application letter. ( the earnest money will not be returned if you do not come.)
