首先申明一下，虽然看起来像个软件贩子，不过确实出于个人对于此款软件的无限喜爱，因此再次发布关于Starry Night的新闻！：）
本人订阅了Starry Night的邮件，因此在前几天第一时间受到了以下信息。Starry Night，号称世界上最真实的天文软件（现在看起来确实也是这样，因为还没有哪个天文软件能在各方面与之匹敌，尤其是三维和显示技术方面，可谓真正的星空模拟软件，而其他大多数天文软件，比如Skymap和Cartes du Ciel等，都只能称为星图软件），最新的第六版本即将8月23日发布。估计一段时间之后可以在eMule上有免费下载~~
最新的第六版本增加了一个AstroPhoto Suite (2006 edition)，用于拍摄天文图片，价格也是最贵的。然而最好的版本依然是Starry Night Pro Plus 6，处理全天CCD星图的速度会有所提高，不过当然是以更昂贵的电脑配置为代价。Starry Night Version 6要求支持OpenGL 2.0的显卡（目前也只有部分中高端显卡支持）。Starry Night Pro Plus 6完全安装，所需硬盘空间更是达到了史无前例的11G!!!!看来对于很多人来说，要安装Starry Night第六版本，需要等到下一台新电脑了。
