国外的爱好者要到中国看全食，想知道相关的信息

有没有高人能提供相关帮助？
如果有人能提供相关的帮助，和他们讨论有关的在杭州上海等地比较好的观测地点，
甚至有计划要组织当地的爱好者或者协会一起观测，麻烦PM我。

Hi:

I noticed you are doing you pre-doc work here at the CfA, and from China
(though apparently from the Beijing area).
I'm a member of the Amateur Telescope Makers of Boston
(http://www.atmob.org <http://www.atmob.org/> ) - the group meets every
2nd Thursday of the month at the CfA (in Phillips Auditorium).

We are organizing a trip to China for the Amateur Telescope Makers of
Boston to view the July 2009 Total Solar Eclipse - we'll be staying in
Hangzhou area for the Eclipse. There about 100 people presently signed
up on the trip. (Details about the trip can be found at
http://www.atmob.org/events/travel.php.)

I and two other people are doing a site visit this year in August (6-12)
to the Hangzhou area to locate potential eclipse viewing sites.

I'm wondering whether you might know of some contacts in the Shanghai /
Hangzhou area that we might either meet or email to discuss potential
observing sites. We'd be especially interesting in any amateur or
professional astronomers that might be planning to view the eclipse near
Hangzhou (we're looking to go close to the center line, which is about
40-50 km north of Hangzhou).

Any assistance or information you can provide would be greatly
appreciated.

Sky and Telescope magazine will organize similar activity in partnership with a travel agency.
The observing site will be around 2 hours drive from Hami, Xinjiang.
Please tell them they can find the ad in volume 6 of 2007, Sky and Telescope magazine
