为什么我叫这个名字

如你所见，这是一个新人贴。看到我的名字的你应该都能猜到我和五车二有一些故事。事情是这样的，我从去年冬天开始看一颗很亮很亮的星星，我当时以为这是天狼星。最近，我又一次和别人说“这是天狼星”，他说“天狼星在猎户座附近，猎户座在南天，所以这肯定不是天狼星。”后来我又问了一下Nightshadecat,她告诉我那其实是五车二，她以前有一段时间认为那是天船三。

是的，不过天狼星确实在南天

有个用户叫做五车二，还有一个叫做Capella星痕，不过他们已经有很多年没有访问论坛了。

还真有人叫五车二啊，只能说还好Ta现在不用论坛了，不然感觉会很尴尬

为什么叫这个名字

好问题。
1）英文名好听好记，符合自然拼读第一直觉（如果我叫Vancomycin或者Streptogramin没人记得住）
2）其实多读读，会发现这（以及整个Oxazolidone家族）是很酷的抗生素（抑制蛋白合成起始，这个靶点我是做梦也没想到；而且核糖体突变的耐药代价非常大，cfr耐药酶又很稀少）。
3）化学结构看上去还挺合理。个别抗生素化学结构极其夸张，这里点名"表扬" Vancomycin和Fosfomycin两个极端分子（见图）。

Anyway, I think I should tease Fosfomycin a bit more. It's actually just C3H7O4P, amking it the simplest antibiotic (no matter if you're measuring by the number of carbons or non-hydrogen atoms). i think it'll be pretty much insane for such a thing to exist. It's very obviously mimicking Phosphoenolpyruvate with a epoxy group bridging the 2rd and 3rd carbons, but the whole thing is so insanely simple that you find it amusing.

There are 3 difficulties in my previous response :Phosphoenolpyruvate,  epoxy, and how this mimic works.
Now, the first one: phosphoenolpyruvate (/fˈɑː.sfo..ʊ.nɑ.ːl.pɪ.ɹuːveɪt/, "fosfuh-unol-pi-ru-vayt").
Phosphoenolpyruvate is really just Phospho-enol-pyruvate, I mean, we all know what pyruvate is, right?


Well, "enol"-pyvate is really just an isomer of pyvate with "en" (a C=C double bond) and "ol" (an alcohol group, i.e. C-OH), and it looks like this:


Phosphoenolpyruvate is just "Phospho"-enolpyruvate, whereas "phospho" means that there's a phosphate group linked covalently to it. A phosphate group looks like this:


and this is what it looks like when it's convalently linked to "something":


now if that "something" means enolpyvate it looks like this:
