这是说明:This is a photo that is a sequel to the "light vortex" photo sent earlier. It was taken 2 minutes later using a 20mm Nikor @ F 2.8, 20 second exposure on Kodachrome 200 slide film pushed 2 stops during the night of October 31st, 1991. Notice the constellations of Auriga, Taurus and Perseus. This band of light crossed the entire sky in line with the Milky Way. It really looks like a flame at this stage of its development. It went on to expand and cover the entire sky with diffuse bands of light. John Flinn.
