关于变星的几个问题，望高手指点

http://www.aavso.org/vsx，VSX上可以提交报告，我把我发现的疑似新变星提交上去了。
我想问这东西管用吗，是否等同上报？这洋文的网站，我搞不明白，头大。

报完给了一段话，什么意思？？？

You have successfully submitted a new variable star to VSX, and it has been assigned the provisional IAU designation of:

In addition, the following AAVSO Unique Identifier (AUID) has been assigned to this star, which should be used for all submitted observations until a permanent name is assigned:

如果真是一颗新变星，会如何，公布在那里？

变星没怎么接触，没有经验，望高手指教。

报告了疑似，会有后续确认。但是如何弄的，我也不清楚。
发现变星和发现彗星这样的天体不同，一般给出变星的一些参数才确认下来。你给我看过的那个perevenie zevezda，那里面文章都是这样的。
