Moonlight, no tail, coma small, faint stellar central condensation visible in
periods of good seeing, low altitude.

2013 Jan. 09.62 UT: m1 = 8.1, Dia.= 3', DC = 5, Tail = 2' in PA of 283藲, 41cm
L (59x)...John Drummond, (Gisborne, New Zealand) [Comet PANSTARRS easy to see.
Nice coma and short tail. Comparison stars - TYC 7889197 (7.95), TYC 789365
(8.55). Comet 13 degrees altitude in the SE. Clear, no Moon, dark sky.]

C/2011L4通过至今155个目视观测数据拟合的最佳亮度曲线，极大亮度预计在1等或者稍暗，现在就期待物理因素上的变法，如爆发、加剧活动等，否则将比标准预报偏暗。

Australia]
Outer coma appears diffuse, elongated slightly to th West, small stellar central
condensation. Observed in 7x50 B抯 as a faint patch of light with averted vision
in good seeing.

2013 Jan 17.72 UT; m1=7.8; Dia= 2.1�; DC= 6; 25cm L, f:5 (x39) [Chris Wyatt,
Walcha, NSW, Australia]
Swan band filter enhances inner coma and central condensation slightly but not
the extremity of the tail. Coma appears as a bright stellar central condensation
with bright but diffused inner coma sweeping back, narrow and tapering in
brightness with faint and diffuse tail extremity which fans out slightly. Tail
length 5.8' in length to WNW.
