关于留学国外学习天文相关专业

我有意申请国外大学（应该是美国的）
也想学习天文相关的专业，如astronomy, astrophysics, cosmology等
但是相关信息实在是不多

请问有知情者么？比如介绍一下好学校，好的工作、科研机会，学习这个方向的tips等等
如果有已经在国外读书做研究或者工作者就最好啦

P.S.如果这贴发得不是地方，请删掉吧

支持下吧，说实话，国内大学真的不是很重视天文
我们学校算是专业比较全的，可是没有天文系，也鲜有专业跟天文有结合

熊和猫都是在国内上的学，不大了解申请国外本科的情况，爱莫能助呢。

我只知道西班牙初四开始就可以选修天文学（其他学校可能初3就能选修了把）做为副科并非主科

some general info:
I'm a high school graduate, enjoying my gap year now
I'm applying for colleges in US and will be a class 2013
At present, I think I wanna majoring in astro-related majors, such as astronomy, astrophysics or cosmology.
